I've read others having a similar problem to me and they have connected the GArmin HR sensor to the Polar wearlink strap and that has fixed the issue. So I started using a Sportsline monitor. Granted, I haven't thought to plot my Heart Rate results with my Chest Hair levels to come up with a solid theory. My graph is just a bit different. navigate here

Changing the battery and extra cleaning the strap didn't help at first, but I did get it going again. Glad to know of these solutions.
