The hours meter works properly ,the Speedometer light all work and the odometer works. However after about five cycles of the key off and on, I noticed the lights dimming and the LCD went blank. Before sealing everything up, carefully remove obvious fingerprints from the LCD (using a cotton swab) and the inside of the face plate as well as the speedometer. Just be careful when you do it.

Another fatality under this conditions seems to be the speedometer module itself!
