As I have suggested before, if the incompatibility problem persists, there are plenty of software program options that can do the job of taking screenshots for you. Use Snipping Tool If you find the print screen functionality not working in Windows 7 or Vista, there is an alternative way that you can take. The Game Bar generates screenshots in PNG format, and saves them in “C:\Users\[your username]\Videos\Captures.” Before you start using the Game Bar, launch the Xbox app that came with Windows 10 open its settings.
