Search for all occurrences of \[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel and replace them with \[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel. However, before doing so, it saves all the current settings to a special file on the hard drive. i'll see if this chnages the monitor off problem.
